I'm not sure what to do with this going forward as there are way too many url rewriting products and the onus right now is on each customer to prevent the rewriting of these meeting links. Our Teams room obviously doesn't know what to do with that it is looking for just the sub URL that is protecting. Our partner who sent us a zoom meeting is using a URL rewriter so the Zoom URL looks like this: It would be nice if these products would have this as a default. I explicitly added exclusions though for Teams, Zoom, and WebEx links. How to Connect to a Zoom Meeting from Microsoft Teams Rooms 1.) Click More from the MTR home screen 2.) Click Settings 3.) Enter the Administrator password (Typically 'sfb' by default on MTR systems) 4.) Click Meetings on the left side of the screen 5.) Under 3rd Party Meetings turn the slider on for Cisco Webex and Zoom 6. Here's a scenario I've tested: a room that does not have a booking delegate, and auto-accepts meeting requests. We use Proofpoint and it rewrites URLs as to protect from future weaponization of the links. With the ability for Teams Rooms to directly join Zoom and WebEx meetings now, this is an important scenario for my organization, as a Zoom or WebEx invite will originate from external users. I had checked the calendarprocessing powershell settings and a bunch of other stuff until I figured out what I think is the issue URL defense rewriting. Forwarding Zoom meetings to the room though were hit and miss.

We have a logitech tap teams room system in our main boardroom and for the most part it works well. I discovered something we'd had issues with for a while now and thought it might be useful info for someone.
